What better way to kick off summer than spending Memorial Day Weekend in the Hamptons?
For the past 10 years I have spent many Memorial Day Weekends out East, but this year was particularly exceptional. For once, the weather was perfect for Friday and Saturday (we didn’t get as lucky on Sunday and Monday, but, hey, I’ll take the 2 days!) We spent most of our time in Bridgehampton, but on Saturday, we had the pleasure of going to a friends place in Sag Harbor to take their new boat out for a spin. It was heavenly!
We went from Sag Harbor all the way to Montauk belting songs, dancing and enjoying rosé and champagne. Is there a better way to enjoy a summer Saturday?! When we arrived to Montauk, we first had drinks at beachfront bar Montauket and then walked over to Duryea’s where we enjoyed an incredible lobster lunch out on the deck.
After lunch we got back on the boat and headed to the new Moby’s to wrap up our boat day with drinks on their deck. We ended up taking the boat out for one more spin to chase the sunset before heading in for the day. We ended with taco dinner at EMP Summerhouse which was the cherry on top of a truly perfect Hamptons day.
