What could be better than spending St Patty’s weekend in Aspen with Whispering Angel? In my opinion, not much!
I have always been a huge fan of rosé wine and, more specifically, a fan of Whispering Angel, so when the Whispering Angel team asked me to join them in Aspen for a weekend full of rosé, great food and fun, I couldn’t say no!
Whispering Angel’s “Aspen Angels” were myself, DJ Nicole Rosé, Sarah Billstein of Rosé Season and my close friend Toby Milstein. Activities for the weekend included skiing, Cloud Nine après ski, a rosé soirée hosted at my family’s Aspen home, a wine tasting dinner at Caribou Club and a late night club sesh at Bootsy Bellows. Needless to say, we were BUSY! Below I have shared photos from Cloud Nine as well as the rosé soirée.
If you don’t already know about Cloud Nine, it is a special après ski venue near the top of Aspen Highlands Mountain. It is definitely the place to be in Aspen in the winter! I mean who doesn’t love a champagne shower after a long day of skiing?! DJ Rosé did a bomb job DJing, as she always does, bringing everyone to dance and sing on the tables while sipping on the finest rosé. It can be a bit wild, but Cloud Nine is always a highlight winter activity in Aspen.
Dinner at my family’s Aspen home included 40 guests who enjoyed a tasting of 4 rosé varieties all under the Chateau d’Esclans umbrella. My personal favorite was the Garrus which paired nicely with the cauliflower quinoa dish that was offered. We went from our home straight to Bootsy Bellows where DJ Rosé DJed again until the early hours of the morning!
Overall, it really was a perfect weekend! It just doesn’t get any better than being in my favorite place with some of my favorite people sipping my favorite wine! A huge, huge thank you to Whispering Angel for having me. Truly honored to join the Angel squad!
