My week in LA
LA for a whole week? Yes please! Especially with the freezing temperatures in NYC!
This past week, my team decided to head to LA for a week of Starling Project events. We hosted five events including a Soul Cycle ride fundraiser to benefit UNICEF (thank you to Anastasia Beverly Hills for sponsoring!), a wine and cheese tasting event at my friend Elizabeth’s and a Starling Supper in yogi Danielle Cuccio‘s beautiful backyard. It was truly a dream week. Candidly, I didn’t even feel like I was working!
I am fortunate to have many close friends in LA so I had the pleasure of having some very LA experiences while I was there. I spent a morning with one of my lifelong friends Jessica shopping and enjoying lunch and ice cream on Abbot Kinney followed by an afternoon at Little Beach House Malibu. I can’t make a trip to LA without stopping in Malibu at Little Beach House Malibu, Nobu Malibu or Malibu Farm for some rose and lunch. It is such a treat and a must on any trip to LA!
I also had an opportunity to join iHeart Radio hosts Tim Mihalsky and Ashleigh Speidel for their show Melting Pot recorded on the top of the Dream Hotel. Guests that day included singer Spencer Sutherland (nicest guy in the world!) and actress and model Jessica Michel Serfaty. Jessica dates Ed Westwick, so he and I enjoyed watching together while sipping on rose. I have always been fascinated with experiencing things behind the scenes, so this was really a highlight of my trip! Check out last week’s recording here.
Additionally, I spent an afternoon at Warner Brothers with my friend Kelly exploring the grounds and movie and show sets. We obviously crashed the Friends set. I also got to hold a real Oscar! We ended that day with a Starling Supper hosted by Danielle Cuccio in her dreamy backyard. Glamsquad also joined braiding guests hair. I couldn’t resist getting the braid crown! I spoke about the Starling mission to bring people together for meaningful conversation and networking. It is always such a joy hosting these dinners and meeting new people dedicated to making a difference in the world. Guests included part of the Goop LA team and influencers such as Savannah Latimer who has been a huge supporter of our brand. It was the perfect evening!
Needless to say, I had the best week in LA! I can never seem to get enough. I guess that means I will just have to spend more time there!
