For the past two years, my fiance and I have been living between New York and Palm Beach. It has been amazing! His company has office’s in both places so we decided to take advantage of it.
Prior to us getting a place in Palm Beach two years ago, I had never been. I had certainly heard of the famous Breakers Hotel, but had no idea what the quaint beach town was all about. It definitely is a world of its own, but there are so many special places in Palm Beach that I want to share with you. I will start with Worth Avenue which truly is one of the most beautiful shopping streets in America. The street has been famous since the early 1900s and is known for its high-end shops including Chanel, Ralph Lauren, Hermes and many others, but don’t fret, it also has an Intermix if you need to grab a couple of new chic beach outfits that don’t entirely break the bank. I am all about the beautiful scenery on the street. There are small alleys that will take you to beautiful gardens hidden off of Worth and you can discover the most amazing restaurants. My favorite is Renatos which has the best pasta and outdoor garden. It is a dream! My favorite store on all of Worth Ave is called Raptis Rare Books. It is a beautiful store that exports you to another time. You feel like you are in a cozy, old-school library, but in this case all of the books almost all of the books are first editions. For instance, you can find the first edition of George Orwell’s 1984 signed by George Orwell. Many of the books are quite costly, but the owners Matthew and Adrienne Raptis are happy to pull out any of the old treasures. I have been known to get lost in there for hours.
I would also tell you that no Palm Beach trip is complete without a visit to the Breakers Hotel. It was built by oil tycoon Henry Flagler in 1896 and it is one of the most grandiose hotels in America. Of course you could stay there for an authentic Palm Beach experience, but you can also just swing by for a drink at the famous HMF bar. You can also treat yourself to a massage at the newly renovated spa. The Breakers architecture is absolutely stunning! It is so easy to feel like you are in a fantasy world when you are there. I spend most days in Palm Beach working in the garden near the hotel coffee shop. Don’t miss it on your next Palm Beach trip! See below my Palm Beach recommendations.

*Fashion: Beachy, colorful clothing is just not my thing, so I tend to wear a lot of white and navy in Palm Beach. These outfits were all quite reasonable too! White Lace shirt – Forever 21, Black Shorts – Forever 21, Wedge Heels – Dolce Vita, Navy Dress – French Connection
