Happy New Year everyone!
I’ve been busy working in Aspen for the past couple of weeks, which inspired me to post about Aspen Winter fashion. I have spent a week a month in Aspen for the past two and a half years designing a new house and I’ve found that with spending so much time in the exclusive, trendy ski town that I have perfected my Aspen style. I have been going to Aspen since I was born, so it is about time!
Aspen is such a unique place. I really don’t think there is anywhere in the world like it! I am excited to share my Aspen looks from my latest trip. It was a winter wonderland and wearing clothes that keep you warm is imperative this time of year, but fashion is also key in the quaint mountain town. I started off with a vintage sweater (my mom’s from the 80s!) Then put on a yellow Rag & Bone Sweater for a pop of color. Finally, I put on a Rag & Bone gray sweater, hat and scarf. Safe to say I have an obsession with Rag & Bone! Conveniently, there is a store located in the heart of Aspen.
If you plan to come to Aspen in the winter, I recommend bringing your trendiest cold-weather attire, but also be sure to stay comfortable since you will likely be taking part in many physical activities like skiing, spinning, yoga and, of course, apres ski. I am pretty sure the “athleisure” concept originated in Aspen decades ago. I swear every where you look there is someone on a corner looking chic as hell in their ski gear or other athletic-wear. Who doesn’t love a hot athlete mixed with a Hollywood celeb look though? That’s all you really need to conquer Aspen winter fashion.
